The rooms are spacious and offer a comfortable stay with big and cozy beds. The bathrooms are stocked with a good selection of soaps and shampoos for guests to enjoy. The service is excellent, with friendly and professional staff who are always willing to assist. The buffet breakfast offers a delicious spread, ensuring a great start to the day.
Some guests have noted that the front rooms of the hotel can be a bit noisy due to construction work opposite, so it's advisable to request a room at the rear of the hotel for a quieter stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Bessahotel Baixa. The hotel itself is modern, beautifully decorated, and exceptionally clean. The comfortable bed and soundproof room ensured a peaceful night's sleep. The room service was prompt and the food delicious. We also enjoyed the smart communication system in the room, allowing us to easily connect our devices to the TV. The location was convenient, with many attractions within walking distance.

Amazing facilities and decor, including beautiful rooms and communal areas. Loved starting the day with a swim and relaxing in the pool area. the hotel's location was great for exploring the city and offered fantastic value for money.
there was no lunch menu available in the restaurant bar, which was disappointing as I didn't want a heavy meal at lunchtime.

I loved staying at this hotel! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city. The staff were fantastic and always willing to help. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed, including an electric kettle and free toiletries. The spa and wellness centre were amazing, with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, and massage services. The sun terrace and outdoor dining area were the perfect places to relax.
I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The modern and nicely decorated facilities made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Our room was flawless, with a huge and comfortable bed. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We particularly appreciated the assistance we received from Raquel at the reception, as she helped us find the perfect wine tour in the Douro region. The location of the hotel was fantastic, as it was walking distance from everything we wanted to see. Additionally, we were able to find parking easily, which was a great convenience. The breakfast provided at the hotel was delicious, and the restaurant served amazing food and drinks. We couldn't have asked for a better stay in this city.
